Banana cinnamon

Churros, cinnamon rolls, snickerdoodles and gingerbread cookies. What's there not to like about cinnamon! (Except for the ones who did the cinnamon challenge hahaha)
Cinnamon just releases this scent and flavour that makes us salivate and crave for more! *Just remember, do not take cinnamon alone!* Add some sugar to make cinnamon sugar! Oh those calories, what a sin! Cinnamon and Sin, get it?

Made these banana cinnamon cupcakes quite some time ago and decided to make them again! Super fluffy and moist cupcakes with a banana chunk, topped with buttercream and cinnamon sugar.
WARNING: This could lead you to diabetes.
But don't worry, we make sure we reduce the amount of sugar to reduce the chances of you getting diabetes! But then again, you only get to view them, not eat them haha. *Evil laughs*

Benefits of Cinnamon:

- Reduces proliferation of leukemia and lymphoma cancer cells
- Prevents clotting of blood
- Stops medication-resistant yeast infection
- Boosts your cognitive function and memory
- Arthritis reliever
- Lowers your cholesterol

Some goofing around while getting pictures taken:
A: "We need some props."
B: (throws banana in)
A: -.-

"What's in the cupcake?"

*Hyperventilates* Okay I'm exaggerating. A chunk of banana in the cupcake! A surprise you'll get when sinking your teeth into these yummy goodness.

Formspring or comment if you have a suggestion on what we should bake next! (:
Till then.

Lemon tart

The initial plan was to make lemon bars but we didn't have enough lemon juice to make the layer thick enough hence it came out to become something more of a tart! Still, it was simply delish with it's tangy lemony layer with a short bread crust, together with the drizzling of condensed milk for the sweet tooth. Something great for tea time accompanied with English breakfast tea or any tea that suits your tooth!

Opening

Decided to start a blog on our baking interest and for the eyes of you greedy sweet souls! Have been wanting to bake since forever, however finding cheap ovens weren't easy to come by. Started baking in the late 2009, when mum decided to buy an oven because it was on sale! Ever since, baking has been part of my everyday (well not literally) life (: Came up with the name "Bakeat", which stands for bake + eat!
The picture below was drawn 2 years ago hoping it'll be something I'd use in future. Will continue to work on something better!
Do stay tune for more updates on our sweet treats! Bound to please the eyes of you viewers. <:)
xx
Cheers!
